Chubby Chicks

Hey folks,

I've been workin like a busy bee! I'm creating a new online store called Chubby Chicks, that will feature merchandise with my own custom made graphics and sketches. I'm so excited with the way things are going. I'm hoping to have the store ready to go live by Dec 1. This is the header for the store. I plan to feature size positive merchandise and images. I'll announce the launch date as soon as I get it all finished!

Busy Days

Gosh I cant believe how quickly time passes. I keep saying I'm gonna write on this blog every day, but then my time just flies away and before I know it several weeks have passed. Which I've got an excuse LOL

I've been working on several projects. As I've mentioned before, I'm working on The Hunt, which is the first book of my mistress series called Her Every Desire. I'm also working on Wild Things, which is the first book of my stripper series with the same title. I have another book that I've outlined called The Hour of Madness and a fourth in progress called The Reunion.

Another Day

Well I've been working on my website, graphics, changing my blog around, playing with HTML (lord knows I'm no good with that one)

I need to be writing too, but I guess this stuff is writing related, at least that's what the procrastinating side of me is saying. LOL

I'm soooooo excited!! This is the cover for Volume 1 of the Red Silk Diaries. It's a specialty line coming direct from Silk's Vault in October.

My book, All In A Day's Work is included in Volume 1 along with three other fantastic authors.

Well, I've been looking at other blogs and I love all the cool graphics and stuff, so I decided to try to learn how. After reading the help section, it's actually not that hard or doesnt seem to be. LOL

Lord it's been a while

Well it's been a while since i've posted anything in here, over a month ago. Lots of new stuff is going on. I've contracted Sunday's Interlude with Ocean's Mist Press. It's due to release with their Labor Day launch. I've also contracted a six (6) book series, The Mistress Series, with Silk's Vault Publishing, and my newest one , All In A Day's Work, for the new Red Silk Diaries line.
So needless to say, I'm tickled to death.

I'm baaaack

Well I'm back from the honeymoon and all the wedding hooplah is behind me. It was fun and exciting, but I'm soooo ready for things to settle back down.

I talked with my cover artist today and my book cover should be ready soon. I'm so excited about that. It makes the whole book thing seem more real. I still can't believe I'm actually gonna have a book published.

But it's back to work or I'm just a one hit wonder. LOL I worked out my weekly goals tonight and got them posted to my study group. So I'm gonna hit the ground runnin tomorrow.

night before the wedding

Well it's the night before my wedding day. It's been so hectic the past few weeks and now it's almost to the main event. I'm hoping things go well tomorrow. The rehearsal and rehearsal dinner went fairly well, no major mishaps that I know about.
My writing is on hold for a week or so for the honeymoon and such, when I get back it's back to work full force on Ungodly Obsessions and reworking a couple of shorts into longer works.

Well thats it for tonight. I've got to get some sleep.

New website

Yay!! I've got all the prelim pages up for my new website. I'm really excited about all the changes I'm making. My goal is to make it easy to navigate and look professional. So far I think it looks pretty nice. Which even tho I worked my tail off , I didnt get much more than just the basic pages up. But this is a good start. I can add my stuff to it as I go along.

I didnt get a lot of other writing done today. I worked most of the day, then came home this evening and started on the new website. I did read 2 craft of writing articles this morning and read posts in my classes. Im hoping tomorrow I can finish playing catch up on my assignments.

Maybe in the morning, tomorrow afternoon I go for another fitting at the bridal shop.

I also need/want to get the other two character interviews finished for Ungodly Obsessions. I have 'to do' lists all over the place. LOL

That's it for tonight. I'm off to bed.

Another Monday

Well it's Monday again. The weeks just seem to be zipping by. Only 18 days left till my wedding day. Things are really hectic. There's so many last minute details that have to be tended to, I want everything to be nice.

I'm still keeping up with my daily writing. Again I'll repeat, Never will I take 3 classes at the same time! I'm working on getting caught up on my assignments. I still have two more to finish this week as well as assignments from the writer's workshop for Ungodly Obsessions.

This is the last week for F2K and one more week in the Feedback Course. After that I'm going to concentrate on the wedding, my novel, and a couple other projects I have on the backburner.

I still haven't heard anything from Silk's Vault as of yet. The winners of the contest are to be announced on June 1st. I've got my fingers crossed.

Well that's it for tonight. I'm off to rest.

Back in the Swing of Things

I'm trying to get back in the habit of writing in my blog every night before closing out for the day. So just bare with me till I get the hang of it.

Today's been a fairly productive day for me. I worked on Ungodly Obsessions tonight for several hours. I'm in the process of really in-depth interviews with at least my major characters. I'm hoping this will give me a better feel for the character and what makes them tick.

I'm still running behind on my assignments. I have an assignment each to post for the three writing classes I'm taking as well as working on UO for the writer's workshop. I'm learning so much, now if I can just get everything to sink in and stay with me. That's gonna be the kicker. LOL

Well I'm off to bed. I have an early day tomorrow. I go for my first fitting at the bridal shop for alterations. Only 22 days left till the wedding! God I have soooo much to get done. LOL

Busy Days

Wow I can't believe it's been so long since I last posted. Things have been hectic. The wedding is only 23 days away! We're trying to get everything together. So far I'm still working on my writing, but I'm not sure how good I'll do the closer we get to the day.

I'm currently working on the prelim stuff for my novel, Ungodly Obsessions. I've been working most of this week knee deep in research. Whew! It's been a lot of work, but I've found some really good articles and pictures.

I'm hoping to get my setting picture collages together hopefully tomorrow night, then start on the plotting part.

I'm also still taking F2K, How to Write Erotica, and Constructive Feedback through WVU-Writer's Village University. Only two more weeks with F2k and the Feedback course, I think. I've learned a lesson though. Never again will I take 3 classes at the same time. LOL

A productive day

Today's been a very productive day for me. I got a lot of my prelim stuff finished for Ungodly Obsessions. I finished all three character sketches for my lead, lover, and villain. I got all my general setting sketches finished and two of my character setting sketches. I also updated my progress sheet for last week's goals and created my goals for the month of May and my weekly goals for the week of May 2 through the 8th. I wrote close to 3000 new words today. Yay me ! :0)

I have a few more worksheets as well as my setting collages to finish, but hopefully I should finish those by Tuesday at the latest. So my WIP is moving right along. I really think all this prelim stuff will help me be better focused when I actually start writing and fleshing out the story. I'm excited to see how it'll go. I have the story down pretty good in my head, it's just a matter of gettin it on paper and reaching close to 80,000 words. LOL Man that sounds like a lot. But I am determined.

Busy Busy

Well today was another busy day. I didnt get as much finished as I'd planned, but I do feel I got quite a bit accomplished. I finally got all my character photos together and created character collages. I posted those in the group today. I'm working on the assignments for the week. Hopefully I'll get most of it finished tomorrow.

I also have to write up my monthly goals tomorrow for the WVU Study Group. I'm trying to move full steam ahead on Ungodly Obsession. Hopefully I'll start gettin it together soon, I hate being behind.

I have a full day planned for tomorrow between writing and working on the wedding invitations. I think the toughest part is getting everything organized, but I'll get there.

Long Day

Well it's been a long day today and I haven't accomplished very much at all, which always irritates me with myself. I have such high plans, but other things tend to eat up my time and on days like this here i sit at 11 pm and I'm just now getttin a chance to even work on anything.

I submitted Forbidden Dreams last night to Silk's Vault. I'm not sure how long it'll take to hear from them. I figure about a month, so we'll see. I'm excited but nervous as hell. It's like I wanna get my work published, but then inside i'm like, well then what?? LOL So crazy. I guess such is life.

Now with FD out and gone I can focus more attention on Ungodly Obsession. I'm working on my character sketches with the writer's group, so we'll see how it goes. I really think all the pre-planning is gonna help me have a better handle on this one, but it's all new. Once I get it down though, I should be able to really move with the story. That's the hope anyhow.

Well thats it for tonight. I need to get back to work on the character sketches. I'm gonna try to start posting here every day. Maybe kinda use this as a place to track my progress. We'll see how it goes.

Another day

Well another day is about over and I'm still trying to stick with my goals for the week. I've been writing everyday. Somedays more than others, but the most important thing for me is that I write every day. I'm nearly finished with my novella Forbidden Dreams and hope to be ready to submit it in a couple of weeks. It's slow going. After thinking I was finished I read back over it and found it full of holes in the middle, so now I'm filling in the gaps. LOL
I'm reading in my Marshall Plan workbook every day. It's full of really good ideas. I'm glad I was able to get it. I really think it's gonna help me improve my writing.
The newest story I'm working on is called Ungodly Obsessions. I'm working on this one with the help of a women's writing workshop I belong to. I think it's coming together pretty nicely. I cant wait to get on it full force. The story is screaming to come out. I'm really excited about it.
I start a new writing class on the 20th called How to Write Erotica. I've read the course description and been reading in the text and I think it'll be a wonderful learning experience for me. We'll see as the class progresses. It's a 14 week class and I'm getting married in 8 weeks, so I may get in a bit of a bind. Hopefully not though.
Well its late and I'm tired. I'm off to bed.
